Warranty and Maintenance Procedure
All products sold on this website by Eco Temp Limited come with a standard 12 month parts and labour warranty. Many of the brands we offer have a longer manufacturers warranty period as long as a suitable maintenance contract is in place on the systems. Eco Temp Ltd. therefore offer tailored maintenance contracts and prices to extend the standard warranty to that of the full manufacturers warranty. Such contracts must be in place for any claims to be made within the first three months of purchase of your system/s and is protected by the manufacturer should Eco Temp Ltd. close unexpectedly.
Eco Temp Limited shall not be liable for any damages or financial repercussions resulting from taking out a maintenance contract with Eco Temp Ltd. Where clients are offered monthly maintenance payment options, failure by said client to honour payment dates and amounts the maintenance contract shall be cancelled via Eco Temp Ltd. discretion and no monies or reimbursement of previous payments shall be due, nor shall we be liable for future warranty issues should they arrive if such a situation occurs.
Accepting or formulating a maintenance contract with another organisation or individual shall require notification in writing to Eco Temp Ltd. and must have our express consent by return in writing for a manufacturer warranty to be extended to the full term. Applications whereby this may occur would be foreign installations, however even in this case until Eco Temp Ltd. are notified and sign their agreement by return will not constitute an admission of liability.
Product Supply Procedure
In the unlikely event that a product is not available or out of stock then Eco Temp Ltd. reserve the right to await the correct stock, or by their choice action a replacement part/system of equal or higher value. This may be performed without consultation with the customer nor shall it require notification from Eco Temp Ltd. unless expressly requested by said client.
The trademarks and products represented on the products we sell are protected. No use of these may be made without prior, written authorisation of Eco Temp Limited except to identify the products or services of the company.
Eco Temp Ltd. supply several brands that we classify as equal in terms of performance, reliability and quality. Therefore selection of a different product via Eco Temp Ltd. than the one specified via the customer will come with the full guarantees and/or functionality that was present with the product originally ordered.
Returns Procedure
In the unlikely event that a product is defective or of poor quality then Eco Temp Ltd. offer a returns procedure (note this applies to goods prior to installation). Please note goods must be signed for as “damaged” should they arrive, or refuse signature on the delivery note. Goods that the packaging appears damaged must be signed “unchecked”. No liabilities or acceptance of returns shall be made should either of these not be carried out in their entirety. We also request, wherever possibly, that images be obtained of the product upon arrival with relevant date and time represented on the imagery. Notification in writing must be made to Eco Temp Ltd. within 48 hours of receipt of the product with a full description of the problem, purchase details and customer reference (each invoice submitted via Eco Temp Ltd. contains a client reference number). It is then the customers responsibility to arrange return of the goods to Eco Temp Ltd. head office address at their own expense, customers are urged to keep their receipts from expenses incurred from doing so. Once the goods are returned Eco Temp Ltd. shall have 14 working days to submit their response in writing to the customer indicating the course of action to be taken. Should the goods received by the customer and subsequently returned to Eco Temp Ltd. be defective then a full refund shall be issued or the product repaired and resent at no extra charge to the client and also a refund against courier/returns charges to the value of £ 50-00. Should the goods be returned and no defects are evident then Eco Temp Ltd. reserve the right to apply a standard 25% restocking fee, in this scenario no liability for expenses arising from return of the goods shall be entertained or accepted. Eco Temp Ltd. reserve the right to repair/replace or refund any defective product sold by Eco Temp Ltd. however in evidence of misuse then the goods shall be returned to the customer with an invoice raised for courier expenses and administration costs. Currently such charges are levied at 10% of the value of the product sold.
